Applicant Agreement & Privacy Terms

One agreement for business owners, authorized representatives, event organizers, and community members recommending a business to Tashbeek DMV Community Connect. It includes listing terms and how we handle your information.

Your information and role

The information you submit must be accurate and current. Owners and authorized representatives confirm that they may represent the business, organization, or event. Community members may recommend a business without owning or representing it; a recommendation does not give the recommender ownership or permission to manage that business's listing.

Owners and organizers are responsible for keeping listing information up to date and notifying Tashbeek of changes after submission, including event date, time, location, cancellation, admission details, or contact information.

Review and publication

Tashbeek is a curated community directory, not an open search engine. All listings are reviewed before publication, and submission does not guarantee approval or publication.

Tashbeek and IntegRiva Consulting, LLC may request edits, approve, decline, edit for clarity, suspend, archive, or remove a listing when reasonably necessary to protect the quality and trust of the directory.

A recommended business is reviewed by staff and contacted through its official business contact channels. The business decides whether to join and manages its own listing. An optional recommendation may be displayed publicly on the listing following staff review. Your private applicant contact details are not published with it.

Business and event responsibility

Businesses and event organizers are independently responsible for:

  • Following applicable laws and regulations
  • Maintaining required licenses, permits, certifications, and insurance
  • Providing accurate pricing and service information
  • Treating customers professionally and fairly
  • Delivering the products, services, or events they advertise

Tashbeek is not a party to transactions or agreements between businesses, event organizers, and consumers. Being listed does not guarantee customers, leads, sales, attendance, revenue, or any specific business result.

Photos, logos, and listing content

By submitting photos, logos, descriptions, or other promotional content, you confirm you have permission to use them. Images are optional; submitted image changes may require another review.

You allow Tashbeek to use approved listing information and promotional materials to display and promote the business or event across the Tashbeek directory, website, social media, newsletters, and related community activities.

Fees and publication

No payment is required for founding business listings through April 30, 2027. Business listings are billed at the disclosed annual rate after approval; the annual rate applies from May 1, 2027. Event fees are quoted at submission and honored through approval.

Payment does not bypass review and does not itself publish a listing. A paid listing becomes ready for publication and remains subject to the applicable review gate.

Private applicant details and public business information

Your applicant name, email address, and optional phone number are private. They are never shown on your listing or sold. Internal notes, authentication data, payment records, and administrative review and audit records are not published or included in public directory exports.

Only approved public listing fields are published. These may include a business or event name, description, category, specialty, address, city, region, website, public business phone and email, social media links, hours, services, event details, and approved images. The public business contact fields are separate from your private applicant contact details.

Information we collect and how we use it

Applicants provide an email identity, contact details, listing content, images, consents, and payment records needed to review and manage a listing. Administrative records may include internal notes, review decisions, revision history, and audit events.

Tashbeek uses this information to authenticate applicants, verify email addresses, review listings, request edits, collect approved fees, publish accepted content, protect the service, and understand aggregate directory activity.

We do not sell personal information. Trusted service providers receive only the information required to operate hosting, storage, authentication, email delivery, payment workflows, and technical services.

Communication and networking

By applying for a Tashbeek listing, owners and authorized representatives agree that Tashbeek and IntegRiva Consulting, LLC may contact them about:

  • Their listing or application and launch updates
  • Community events and bazaars
  • Networking and collaboration opportunities
  • Promotions, special offers, and sponsorships
  • Other Tashbeek or IntegRiva opportunities relevant to the business community

Recommenders provide a private email address for verification and communication about their recommendation. You may unsubscribe from optional promotional emails at any time.

Your choices and contact

Applicants may update eligible fields, request corrections, or ask for archival through their account or by contacting Tashbeek. Some records are retained when needed for financial, consent, security, or audit obligations.

You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, scrape protected data, interfere with operations, or submit unlawful, deceptive, discriminatory, or infringing content.

Tashbeek may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be dated and, when appropriate, communicated to affected account holders. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to hello@tashbeek.org.

Agreement and confirmation

By accepting this Applicant Agreement & Privacy Terms, you agree to the listing, review, communication, and privacy terms above. Owners and authorized representatives also confirm that they may represent the business or event. Recommenders confirm that they are recommending the business for staff review.
